Danny Seto

In addition to being a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Clinical Fellow of the American and Canadian Associations of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT/CAMFT), I am also an Approved Supervisor.

I am also a professional member of the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I graduated from Tyndale University in 1999 with a Master of Divinity Degree (with a specialization in Counseling). I also graduated with a Master of Psychology degree from the Adler Graduate Professional School. I am a Certified Play Therapist (currently working on my designation as a Play Therapist Supervisor). I am an EMDR Therapist as well as an EFT Therapist. I am a life-long learner and would consider myself a "professional student". I am pursuing my doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

In addition to being empathetic, I am very understanding and patient. I am very client-centered and am well-versed in a variety of modalities and techniques so that the treatment plan can be catered to your individual needs. I am hoping to help you (and/or your partner/family) in your journey towards wellness by being able to cope with the struggles you may be experiencing. By working with me, I am hopeful that you will be able to draw upon your own experiences (just like I did) in order to bring your life back into homeostasis.

Juanna Nguyen

I am a Certified Music Therapist and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I joined Danny Seto’s private practice as a practicum student in September 2020, and completed my placement under his supervision in May 2021. Since June 2021, I have continued my work in Danny’s clinic

I have experience working with children, adults, couples, and families. In my past internship, I have employed music-based interventions including therapeutic songwriting, music improvisation, and guided meditation with music, followed by verbal processing and reflection. I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach with an interest in mindfulness-based practices and the principle of non-judging.

I also have developed an interest in counselling-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Family Systems. I believe in providing and facilitating a safe space for others to define and gain insight into their own experiences. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process in which I strive to understand and support my client while we work together to create a plan for therapy.

Justin Lau

Justin is probably your first point of contact at the clinic. Since September, 2020, Justin has been the administrative assistant at the clinic. In addition to scheduling, taking care of intake forms and responding to daily emails, Justin also is responsible for all tech-related issues.

In addition to working at the clinic, Justin is a personal fitness trainer, nutritionist coach, and a junior web designer (he also created this website!). His regular hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am - 6 pm (though if you are lucky, you may hear from him on a different date and time!). He can be reached by email at justin@dannyseto.ca

Christopher Matsoukas

"I am currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student with Yorkville University who has previously completed a Bachelor of Arts (Wilfrid Laurier University) and a Post-Graduate Certificate (Seneca College). In addition to my current enrollment as a Master's student, my previous educational background in Psychology and Mental Health Interventions have provided me with a thorough understanding of working with different theories, modalities, and techniques in conjunction with cultural competence. I am currently working toward becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I attend to the diverse and unique needs of individuals through empathy, attentiveness, and non-judgement.”

Christopher will begin his practicum placement beginning September, 2022. He will be available for in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. as well as virtual therapy from Mondays to Saturdays. Christopher will be offering affordable therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Please secure your spot now by emailing info@dannyseto.ca as affordable therapy spots are generally in huge demand.

Stefanie Londero

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Guelph. I am currently volunteering at Danny’s clinic to gain some indirect counselling-related experience for my master’s degree in Counselling Psychotherapy. My goals in the future are to become a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO).

In addition to volunteering at Danny’s clinic, I also volunteer for another psychotherapists’ private practice where I am responsible for creating intake forms, consent forms, and designing websites. While I am home from school for the summer, I also work full- time as a gymnastics coach where I train athletes ages 3 to 18 years old.

Kirthana Erskine

It takes courage for us to be vulnerable, and vulnerability shows our strength to press on despite being broken. I, like you, have been through a process of rediscovery and I have learned that it is our willingness to seek help that encourages us to move towards a new sense of purpose. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

I empathetically listen and employ a non-judgemental stance to your personal experiences to facilitate a safe space for you to be your authentic self. In using a client-centered and eclectic approach, I ensure that your narrative is valued and supported by conveying compassion, warmth, and respect in our collaborative, therapeutic relationship.

My approach is to meet your unique needs using a variety of interventions. With time and patience, you will be supported with the effective tools that will be tailored towards your treatment plan. I look forward to working together on your therapeutic change, journey of growth, and ongoing healing.
