  Supervision  

 

Clinical Supervision is offered to the following individuals: - students who are doing a practicum in the field of psychology or counselling and require a supervisor - private practice or agencies who do not have a qualified supervisor on site and require an external clinical supervisor 

 

 - individuals who are working towards their Registered Psychotherapist designation (either qualifying or independent) that require hours to fulfill the requirements of the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario - individuals who are working toward the American / Ontario Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and require hours for supervision 

 

 - individuals who are working toward the Canadian Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and receive hours for supervision - individuals who are in one of the five regulatory bodies who can call themselves psychotherapists who require supervision to fulfill the requirements of their regulatory body - individuals who are supervising other clinicians who would like supervision to discuss their supervisees (i.e., supervision of supervision)

 

 - any other practitioner who would like to advance their skills, 30-hr courses are also offered face-to-face and on-line for Clinical Supervision. The course is intended to fulfill one of the requirements of the CRPO to become a clinical supervisor. A certificate and a letter of completion will be given at the end upon successful completion and attendance of the course.

Types Of Supervision

 

  

Dyadic Supervision

Save costs by having another person in your supervision to fulfill hours. According to the CRPO, dyadic supervision counts the same as individual supervision.

Individual Supervision

Join one on one supervision with Danny to discuss upon cases.

Group Supervision

Join a small group of 3 - 8 other therapists (who may be students, those in their qualifying stages, or independent) in order to gain more experience as a psychotherapist.
